How does Remesense work?
Remesense consists of a mouthguard and foam strips. The foam strips are placed into the mouth using the mouthguard. Each foam strip is impregnated with a desensitising liquid called ‘Potassium Oxalate’. Potassium ions have desensitising properties and block teeth sensitivity, whilst oxalate blocks the dentinal tubli, sealing the teeth. Teeth are protected against hot, cold or acidic stimuli.
